Welcome to Mombin Crochu

Here in the mountains of North East Haiti, at around 2000 feet in elevation, is the small community of Mombin Crochu. It is here that pastor Fred Chaley Delauriers was called by God to minister, and out of that calling several ministries rose. There is the church, the orphanage, the school, the nutrition center and the village organization. On this site you will find links to each of these ministries providing greater detail of just how each one is affecting the people, and especially the children, of this community in ways that only God could do. It is our prayer that you will come to a deeper understanding of how God is moving in this poor village in this poor country, where wealth is not measured in coins or cars or houses, but rather in the knowledge that God's children are heirs to a king and brothers and sisters of the Prince of Peace. It is our prayer also that you will join us in lifting up these ministries before the Lord our God and perhaps even with a small donation to help us continue the fight against poverty, homelessness, illiteracy, and the spiritual darkness that so often surrounds those in dire situations. On the following pages you will find the details written in Pastor Fred's own words, but English is not his native language, so I have attempted to edit and translate those words to the best of my ability to aid in understanding and readability.
